A 2005 Porsche Carrera GT with just 11,000 miles and a recent six-figure mechanical overhaul is being offered for sale on Bring a Trailer, drawing attention from collectors eager for one of Porsche’s most iconic analog supercars.
This Carrera GT, chassis #613, is one of only 1,270 produced during the model’s limited four-year production run. Finished in GT Silver Metallic over Terracotta leather, the car comes with a Porsche Classic Technical Certificate and a documented service history, including over $121,000 in maintenance completed in February 2025 by Porsche of Colorado Springs.
Under its carbon-fiber skin lies a 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, derived from an abandoned Le Mans prototype program and producing 605 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a ceramic clutch assembly, recently replaced as part of its 2025 service. Other major work included new camshafts, ignition components, tensioner rollers, a full clutch release module, and a set of Öhlins TTX coilovers. The factory shocks are included in the sale.
The carbon monocoque-based supercar also features a host of motorsport-inspired details, including ceramic composite brakes with yellow monoblock calipers, magnesium center-lock wheels, and an electronically actuated rear spoiler. The laminated wood shift knob pays tribute to Porsche’s 917 race cars and serves as a centerpiece in the spartan yet luxurious cabin.
Fewer than 1,300 Carrera GTs were produced globally between 2003 and 2007, and the model has gained legendary status for its combination of raw V10 power, lightweight construction, and analog driving experience. This particular example, which includes a matching set of Terracotta leather fitted luggage, has spent time in Michigan, Ontario, and Arizona.
With extensive recent servicing and rare original options, the car is expected to draw significant attention as bidding opens online.
