Named after an Andean wind god, the Huayra not sounds exotic but also comes with a look one can mistake with no other. And while the Pagani might not be everyone’s cup of tea, with production numbers limited it doesn’t need to be. That’s why the appearance of one of the few RHD Huayra Roadsters on the market is a momentous occasion.
See the experimental supercar which was finally made road legal.
With a mere 12 RHD Pagani Huayra Roadsters in existence, plus one of only give UK RHD models, this is in fact quite the rare bird. That alone fuels its collectability. Combine that with potent performance, breathtaking styling, and high-end finishes and this hypercar is an investment many will be considering.
A two-tone exterior featuring Rosso Dubai and exposed carbon fiber, plus black aluminum trim and gold pinstripe makes a strong statement which surely will raise more than a few eyebrows. Just as dramatic are the gold wheels with gloss black calipers.
Moving to the interior, Premium Malevic Nero Nappa leather provides exquisite comfort with its Rosso Dubai contrast diamond stitching. Like the exterior, the cabin also has plenty of exposed carbon fiber finishes and black aluminum, while the dials are made of black titanium.
While some might think this Roadster is more flash than substance, what they likely don’t realize is it packs a tremendous punch. A twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 sits midship, sourced from Mercedes-AMG, and delivers 791-horsepower and 775 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s routed to the rear wheels through a seven-speed single-clutch automatic transmission.
Considering the Huayra Roadster weighs under 3,000 lbs., the power-to-weight ratio is astounding. Pagani claims that while taking a turn, the hypercar is capable of producing 1.9 g of continuous lateral acceleration force, with peak lateral acceleration hitting 2.2 g. If you really push this Pagani it will rise to the challenge.
The seller says this Huayra Roadster was recently serviced by Pagani and has the newest clutch and flywheel modification, so it should be ready for you to enjoy. With just 2,000 miles on it, you should find it’s rather fresh, but all that will come at a price most cannot afford.
