Rimac Automobili is marking its 15th anniversary with a limited-edition version of its groundbreaking electric hypercar, the Nevera. This special edition, dubbed the 15th Anniversary Edition, celebrates the Croatian automaker’s journey from its humble beginnings to becoming a major player in the electric vehicle market. With only nine units set to be produced, each priced at $2.54 million, this exclusive model showcases unique features that distinguish it from the standard Nevera.
The 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera boasts a striking dual-tone exterior with copper on the upper half and exposed carbon fiber below, finished in a matte texture—a first for the model. This distinctive color scheme extends to the alloy wheels, which feature a mix of copper and black spokes. Special badging, including a circuit board-like decal running from the hood to the rear wing, adds to the car’s unique aesthetic. Inside, the copper theme continues with trim accents, while the seats, available in white or black leather, feature copper-colored headrests embossed with the number 15 and contrasting stitching. The armrests are also adorned with a script noting the car as one of nine and the dates “2009-2024.”
Under the hood, the Nevera remains unchanged, retaining its formidable quad-motor setup that delivers an astonishing 1,900 horsepower. This power allows the hypercar to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.74 seconds and reach a top speed of 256 mph. The vehicle’s 120 kWh battery pack provides a range of 300 miles on a single charge, ensuring that it remains as practical as it is powerful.
Rimac’s latest creation is not just about performance; it represents a milestone in the company’s history. Founded by Mate Rimac in 2009, the company has evolved from a small startup to a leading force in the electric vehicle industry, even merging with Bugatti to form Bugatti Rimac. The Nevera, along with the Pininfarina Battista, has proven that electric supercars can match and even surpass the performance of their gasoline-powered counterparts.
The first example of the Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition is set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, showcasing Rimac’s commitment to innovation and performance. With only eight more units to be produced, this special edition is a testament to the company’s journey and its vision for the future of high-performance electric vehicles.
