The Aston Martin Valkyrie Isn’t Cheap To Maintain

There’s the old saying that some cars you can buy before you can afford them, but with the Aston Martin Valkyrie that doesn’t appear to be the case. Still, many who likely can’t buy what’s about as close as one can get to a street-legal Formula One racecar are shocked at a Bloomberg report spelling out the $450,000 three-year maintenance agreement.

Rimac has finally delivered a Nevera to a Croatian countryman.

Most have literally no idea how expensive hypercars and even supercars are to maintain. While the Valkyrie is perhaps the most extreme example, with the hypercar’s retail price at about $3,000,000 this isn’t a vehicle just anyone could even begin to dream of purchasing.

We’re pretty sure buyers who can pony up the cash to buy an Aston Martin Valkyrie can afford to part with $450,000 to keep it running properly for three years. After all, with production capped at just 150 units globally, these are about as surefire of an investment as one can get. Plus, they have to be an absolute blast to drive, especially on a track.

For anyone wanting to save some cash after dropping a few million on their Valkyrie, Aston Martin is offering a $340,000 maintenance plan for three years. Something tells us that’s not the one you want to pick if you plan on taking yours to the track. And who’s not going to?

Poised on a razor’s edge of performance, the Valkyrie is certainly no ordinary car. Aston Martin engineers tend to the maintenance, employing their vast reservoir of knowledge to keep everything finely tuned at a level of precision you just won’t get at most dealership service departments. That comes at quite the cost.

We predict news of the Valkyrie’s servicing costs will just work to pump up its mystique and legendary status in the right circles. So while many non-car people are flabbergasted at this revelation, the right people will be impressed, perhaps even intrigued by it.
