Three Classic Chevrolet Corvettes Set to Cross the Block at Henderson’s Collector Motor Series Sale

Three distinctly iconic Chevrolet Corvettes, each representing a different era of American performance engineering, are heading to auction at Henderson Auctions’ Collector Motor Series sale this May.

Leading the pack is a meticulously preserved 1963 Corvette “Fuelie” convertible (VIN: 30867S119761). Finished in classic Ermine White with a black vinyl interior and matching soft top, this first-year Stingray earned a 98% NCRS Top Flight score, reflecting its exceptional authenticity. Under the hood is a 327-cubic-inch V8 with Rochester fuel injection, delivering 360 horsepower through a four-speed Muncie transmission and 4.11 Positraction rear gears. It rides on whitewall tires for a truly period-correct presentation.

From the modern classic era comes a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 (VIN: 1G1YZ23JXL5802600), showing only 98 original miles. This Dark Red Metallic coupe boasts the high-performance LT5 engine—a 32-valve, 5.7-liter V8 developed in collaboration with Lotus and hand-built by Mercury Marine. Rated at 380 horsepower and paired with a six-speed manual gearbox, the ZR-1 offered Corvette fans unprecedented speed and sophistication in the early ‘90s. Its black leather interior and color-matched targa top complete the sleek, low-mile package.

Rounding out the trio is a remarkably original 1971 Chevrolet Corvette (VIN: 194371S120729) with just 1,609 miles since new. An unrestored survivor, it remains finished in Mille Miglia Red with factory T-tops, pop-out rear glass, and red vinyl interior. Power comes from its numbers-matching 270-horsepower 350 V8, backed by a three-speed automatic and 3.08 Posi-Traction rear end. Documented with its original Protect-O-Plate and bill of sale, this C3 offers an untouched glimpse into early ’70s Corvette style and power.

All three Corvettes offer collectors a rare opportunity to acquire well-preserved, investment-grade examples from three distinct generations of the Corvette legacy.
