Three standout vehicles from the Scott Lougheed Collection—each an icon of its era—are headed to Mecum’s Houston auction on Saturday, April 5, 2025, and all will sell at no reserve.

Leading the trio is a 1970 Plymouth Superbird, one of just 308 V-code cars equipped with a 440 Six-Barrel V-8 and 4-speed manual transmission. Finished in Lemon Twist with a black vinyl top, the winged muscle car retains its matching-numbers powertrain and includes its original broadcast sheet. Additional highlights include a Hurst pistol grip shifter, A33 Track Pak with Sure Grip 3.54 gears, front disc brakes, and power steering. An older repaint preserves its factory presentation, while Rallye wheels and the “Beep Beep” horn complete the car’s unmistakable NASCAR-homologation heritage.

Equally eye-catching is the 1981 DeLorean DMC-12, showing just 13,969 miles and preserved in highly original condition. The famous stainless-steel bodywork and gullwing doors remain untouched, while its PRV-sourced 2.85L V-6 pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission. Inside, black leather upholstery, air conditioning, and factory turbine wheels maintain its futuristic 1980s charm. A factory Craig AM/FM radio and rear louvers emphasize the time-capsule nature of this collectible coupe.

Completing the trio is a 1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi, presented in classic Rosso Corsa over a black leather interior. Powered by a 2.9L V-8 with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and a 5-speed manual transmission, the GTSi features a removable Targa top, air conditioning, and a recent $23,000 major service by Moorespeed. With its iconic wedge styling, Campagnolo wheels, and gated shifter, the Ferrari remains a favorite among collectors and enthusiasts.
All three vehicles will cross the auction block at no reserve, offering buyers a rare chance to own timeless machines from three distinct corners of automotive history.
