Freije & Freije Auctioneers will showcase a lineup of classic American performance this September when three Chevrolet Corvettes cross the block at the Fall Big Boy Toy Auction. The sale, scheduled for September 26, features standout examples from the 1960s and 1970s, offering bidders a chance to take home some of the most desirable models in Corvette history.
Among the highlights is a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible (VIN: 4D867S103137), presented in white and powered by a 327-cubic-inch small-block V8 paired with a manual transmission. The car features power steering and power brakes, and it comes with both a removable hardtop and a soft top. Showing just over 31,000 miles on the odometer, the Stingray represents a blend of midyear Corvette design with functional touring capability.
Also joining the lineup is a 1979 Chevrolet Corvette T-top coupe (VIN: 1Z8749S411854). Finished in red over black leather, this late third-generation Corvette carries the desirable L82 5.7-liter V8, producing 225 horsepower, paired with an automatic transmission. Options include air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel, power windows, and locks. Period-correct 10-spoke alloy wheels and a power antenna add to its well-preserved appeal.
Rounding out the group is a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible (VIN: 194675S105489), a Rally Red example equipped with its numbers-matching 327-cubic-inch V8 rated at 300 horsepower and backed by a four-speed manual transmission. The car has undergone a restoration, with records and history files included, and comes with both a white vinyl soft top and a color-matched hardtop. Consignor notes highlight recent brake work and a tune-up, leaving the Corvette mechanically sorted and ready for driving.
