Two Porsche 911 GT3 Models Worth Over $500K Stolen in California

In a daring early morning heist, two suspects stole two Porsche vehicles, valued collectively at over $500,000, from a dealership in Fremont, California. The Fremont Police Department responded to the incident, which occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. on April 4 at the Porsche dealership on Cushing Parkway.

The vehicles, a Porsche 911 GT3 RS and a GT3, were driven right off the showroom floor and through the dealership’s glass windows in a dramatic escape. However, the escapade was short-lived for one of the vehicles; the Porsche GT3 RS was found later that day in Milpitas, about 10 miles south of Fremont, and was subsequently returned to the dealership. The suspects, however, evaded capture at that time.

The investigation quickly advanced on April 5 when police, using advanced camera technology, tracked the location of the second stolen vehicle, the Porsche GT3. After hours of surveillance, police arrested 22-year-old Nova Moore from Hayward at his residence. During the arrest, Moore attempted to discard a loaded handgun. The GT3 was recovered at the scene.

Further search of Moore’s residence unveiled a cache of illegal items including high-capacity rifles, stolen property, cash, and a police radio scanner. Moore now faces multiple charges, including burglary, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon, and resisting arrest.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the police are still searching for the second suspect involved in the theft. The identity of this individual has not been disclosed beyond a photo released by the authorities. The Fremont Police Department continues its investigation and seeks any information regarding the second suspect’s whereabouts.
