Ultra-Low-Mile 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition Headed to February 2026 GAA Auction

An exceptionally preserved 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition is scheduled to cross the auction block in February 2026, offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire one of the most iconic modern American supercars with delivery-level mileage.

Listed as Lot ST0079.1, the car shows just 155 miles on the odometer and is being offered as a used vehicle with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin. Finished in the instantly recognizable blue and orange Heritage livery, the GT pays homage to Ford’s legendary GT40 race cars that dominated international endurance racing in the 1960s.

The Heritage Edition was produced to commemorate Ford’s Le Mans victories and stands apart from standard GT models with its distinctive paint scheme, Heritage racing stripes and unique badging. This example features a two-door coupe body finished in blue with orange accents, paired with an Ebony leather-trimmed interior.

Power comes from Ford’s supercharged 5.4-liter dual overhead cam V8, an engine that helped define the reborn GT’s reputation. The mid-mounted V8 delivers power through a Ricardo six-speed manual transmission, sending output to the rear wheels. A stainless steel dual exhaust system and full aerodynamic package are also included, underscoring the car’s performance-focused design.

This GT is equipped with all four available factory options. Highlights include lightweight forged aluminum wheels, gray-painted brake calipers and the optional McIntosh AM/FM stereo system with a single CD player. The combination of factory options, ultra-low mileage and Heritage specification places the car among the most desirable examples of the first-generation Ford GT.

Inside, the cabin reflects the GT’s blend of race-inspired design and premium materials. Ebony leather upholstery complements the minimalist layout, while exposed structural elements emphasize the car’s performance roots. Despite its supercar credentials, the GT was engineered to be road-usable, balancing comfort with extreme capability.

The modern Ford GT was produced for the 2005 and 2006 model years and marked Ford’s return to the elite supercar segment. Built around an aluminum space frame with a mid-engine layout, the GT was widely praised for delivering authentic performance without sacrificing everyday drivability.

With only 155 miles recorded, this Heritage Edition has seen minimal use since new, making it closer to a preserved artifact than a driven example. As interest in analog, manual-transmission supercars continues to grow, low-mileage Ford GTs have become increasingly sought after.

When it crosses the block in February 2026, this 2006 Ford GT Heritage Edition will stand out as a time-capsule example of one of Ford’s most ambitious and celebrated production cars.
