This ultra-rare 2007 Saleen S7, converted to LM specifications in 2018, represents the pinnacle of American engineering and motorsport dominance. Originally introduced in 2000, the Saleen S7 was revolutionary. Its carbon fiber chassis, mid-engine layout, and race-derived suspension established it as a fierce competitor against the best European hypercars. With a twin-turbocharged 7.0-liter V8, it achieved staggering performance figures, including a 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds and a top speed exceeding 200 mph. The S7’s prowess extended to motorsport, earning over 100 victories at prestigious events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 12 Hours of Sebring.
To honor its legacy, Saleen unveiled the LM project in 2017, converting select S7s to commemorate the model’s racing success. Only three were completed, making LM-007 one of the rarest examples.
