Vanilla Ice, the rapper famous for his early 90s hit “Ice Ice Baby,” is making waves again, this time with his luxury lifestyle. In a recent media appearance, Vanilla Ice, whose real name is Robert Van Winkle, revealed his latest ride—a stunning white Ferrari F8 Spider, a significant upgrade from the Ford Mustang 5.0 Fox Body he famously rapped about in the past.
The rapper-turned-TV personality has been busy over the last decade, with gigs on HGTV and various other projects, leading to his latest high-end purchase. Vanilla Ice shared that he had the unique experience of watching his Ferrari being built at the iconic Maranello factory in Italy, although he humorously noted that filming the process with his phone was prohibited.
Despite owning the high-performance convertible, Vanilla Ice admits the car hasn’t seen much action, with only “about 500 miles on it.” He’s traded cruising around Miami for a more low-key lifestyle, but his love for luxury remains evident.
Though the rapper seems content with his Ferrari, fans shouldn’t expect a new track about the car, as Vanilla Ice hasn’t released an album since 2011. Nevertheless, his F8 Spider is yet another symbol of his ever-evolving image, blending nostalgia with modern luxury.
