Vietnamese Koenigsegg Jesko Replica Made With Just $100

A Vietnamese team of automotive builders has stunned car enthusiasts worldwide by crafting a strikingly accurate Koenigsegg Jesko replica—using a salvaged Toyota sedan as its base. The project, undertaken by NHET TV, a popular YouTube channel known for creating budget supercar replicas, showcases the team’s exceptional fabrication skills despite working with limited resources.

The donor vehicle, a ninth-generation Toyota Corona, was reportedly purchased for a mere $100. Though its body and interior were in poor condition, the drivetrain remained functional, providing a foundation for the ambitious transformation. Over the course of a year, the team meticulously built a custom fiberglass body, sculpting intricate details such as the Jesko’s signature aerodynamic kit, dihedral doors, and pop-up rear spoiler.

While the exterior closely mirrors the real Jesko, the cabin relies on cost-effective materials. The dashboard is a patchwork of plastic panels, and most of the digital displays are purely aesthetic. However, the seats and center console replicate the hypercar’s design with surprising accuracy.

Mechanically, the replica retains the Toyota Corona’s stock powertrain, producing an estimated 120–160 horsepower—far from the Jesko’s monstrous 1,578 hp twin-turbo V8. Despite this, the NHET TV team never intended to match the real hypercar’s performance, focusing instead on honing their craftsmanship and entertaining their audience.

The car is not street-legal in Vietnam and remains a showpiece rather than a road-ready vehicle.
