A rare, ultra-low-mileage 2006 Ford GT is being offered as the centerpiece prize in a current giveaway, giving entrants the choice between taking delivery of the supercar or opting for a $250,000 cash alternative. With just 235 miles since new, the vehicle stands out as an exceptionally preserved example of Ford’s modern tribute to its legendary GT40 race cars.
The Ford GT offered is one of only 190 examples produced for the 2006 model year in Midnight Blue with painted white over-the-top stripes. The exterior color combination is paired with an Ebony leather interior, and the car is reported to be a single-owner example since new. Its minimal mileage places it among the lowest-mileage GTs available from the 2005–2006 production run.

Power comes from a mid-mounted, supercharged 5.4-liter DOHC V8 engine producing 550 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. The engine uses a Lysholm screw-type supercharger and a dry-sump lubrication system. Power is delivered through a Ricardo six-speed manual transaxle and a helical limited-slip differential, sending output to the rear wheels through a dual center-exit exhaust system.

The Ford GT was engineered with an extruded-aluminum space frame, roll-bonded floors, and aluminum body panels. This example is equipped with forged aluminum BBS wheels measuring 18 inches in front and 19 inches in the rear. Braking is handled by red-painted four-piston Brembo calipers with cross-drilled and ventilated rotors.

Additional factory equipment includes HID headlights, fog lights, side air intakes, a vented hood, front splitter, rear diffuser, and air conditioning. Inside, the GT features Sparco seats with carbon-fiber shells and GT40-style ventilation grommets, along with a McIntosh CD stereo system.

The giveaway allows participants to enter for a chance to win the vehicle itself or select the cash alternative instead. Organizers note that readers can increase their chances through additional entries, making the rare Ford GT or cash prize accessible through participation rather than purchase.
