A 1952 Jaguar XK120 roadster with deep historical provenance and classic British style is now up for grabs on Bring a Trailer, offered at no reserve. The vintage sports car is being sold by a dealer following a long-term ownership stretching back to the late 1950s.

Chassis details list the car originally finished in Suede Green from the factory, but it underwent a full repaint in British Racing Green during the 1980s. Complementing the exterior is a tan convertible top, removable side curtains, and brightwork including chrome bumpers, hubcaps, trim rings, and rear bumperettes. A polished exhaust tip and a single front driving light add vintage character, while aftermarket turn signals have been discreetly added for safety.

Riding on tan-painted 15-inch steel wheels wrapped in Michelin tires, the car retains its original suspension layout, with independent front components and semi-elliptical rear leaf springs. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums, though a modern tandem master cylinder was added in February 2025 to improve reliability.

Inside, the roadster features tan leather bucket seats, color-matched carpets and door panels, and an AM/FM radio with aftermarket speakers. Smiths instrumentation includes a reverse-sweep tachometer with an integrated clock and a 140-mph speedometer. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 41,000 miles.

Power comes from a 3.4-liter DOHC inline-six engine, a replacement unit believed to have been installed and rebuilt during the 1980s restoration. Dual SU carburetors feed the motor, which is mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Recent maintenance includes fluid changes for the engine, transmission, and differential.

The sale includes a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, original owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a set of wire wheels, and a clean Arizona title—offering collectors a rare opportunity to acquire a well-preserved XK120 ready for road or show.
