22k-Mile 2016 BMW M3, Heavily Modified and Manual, Hits Bring a Trailer at No Reserve

A highly modified 2016 BMW M3 sedan showing just 22,000 miles is now being offered on Bring a Trailer at no reserve, drawing interest for its combination of BMW Individual paintwork, a six-speed manual transmission and a long list of performance upgrades.

The car was collected new through BMW’s European Tourist Delivery program and later registered in Montana and Arizona. The current owner purchased it in 2017 and added roughly 15,000 miles. Finished in BMW Individual Sunburst Gold Metallic, the M3 carries widened F80 bodywork and Shadowline trim, along with aftermarket OneEighty headlights, an M4-style rear spoiler and a Mode Carbon rear diffuser. Records show the front bumper sustained “minor” damage in early 2019, according to a Carfax entry. The bumper was repainted under the seller’s ownership, and the lower-right intake trim was replaced prior to listing.

Blue-finished HRE Performance wheels sit over Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires dated 2022. The suspension has been upgraded with KW V3 Clubsport coilovers, and the braking system was converted to a Brembo kit featuring yellow calipers. Ahead of the sale, the front pads and brake fluid were replaced.

Inside, the car retains its factory Anthracite Carbon Structure cloth and black leather upholstery, paired with carbon-fiber trim across the dash and console. Equipment includes heated power sport seats, a Harman Kardon audio system, Comfort Access, automatic climate control and navigation. An iND shift knob, handbrake grip and an iND multifunction steering wheel were added. The iDrive controller was replaced earlier this year.

Under the hood, the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter S55 inline-six features multiple performance upgrades, including Pure Turbos Stage 2 turbochargers, an Eventuri carbon-fiber intake system, and a gold-foil-wrapped intercooler and charge pipes. It was tuned in November 2025 for both 91-octane and 100-octane fuel using Bootmod3 software. Dynamometer sheets included with the car show peak figures of 524 and 558 wheel horsepower. Recent service included an oil change, cabin filter replacement and fuel-system cleaning.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox and an Active M differential. An Akrapovič titanium exhaust adds additional performance and sound.

The M3 is offered with service records, dyno documentation, the owner’s manual and a clean Arizona title. The listing is live on Bring a Trailer with no reserve.
