Apollo Evo Debuts as Ultra-Exclusive 800-HP Track Hypercar

Apollo Automobil has unveiled its latest creation, the Evo, a hypercar designed exclusively for the track and limited to just 10 units. The car serves as the successor to the dramatic Intensa Emozione and marks the 20th anniversary of Gumpert, Apollo’s predecessor brand.

The Evo carries a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V-12 engine that produces 800 horsepower, channeled through a lightweight chassis that keeps total weight down to just 2,866 pounds. The result is acceleration from zero to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph, all while running on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires rather than slicks.

Central to the car’s performance is a carbon monocoque that weighs only 364 pounds. Apollo emphasizes that this structure, paired with aggressive aerodynamics, helps deliver a pure motorsport-style driving experience. The Evo also differentiates itself with its dramatic design, carrying forward Apollo’s tradition of building cars that resemble futuristic prototypes rather than road-going grand tourers.

While the hypercar market has grown crowded with track-only offerings from Bugatti, Ferrari, and Aston Martin, Apollo aims to distinguish itself with extreme rarity. Only 10 examples will leave the factory, compared with the dozens of units typically built by larger automakers. That exclusivity, combined with its raw V-12 powerplant and sub-3,000-pound curb weight, makes the Evo a compelling option for collectors seeking something outside the mainstream.

The Evo also reinforces Apollo’s commitment to staying independent, charting a different course from mainstream competitors that lean heavily on connections to endurance racing. Instead, Apollo presents the Evo as a purist’s machine: light, fast, and available only to a handful of buyers worldwide.

With its performance and exclusivity, the Evo could secure Apollo’s place in hypercar lore where its Gumpert predecessor once faltered.
