Audi has unveiled its fastest production car yet: the 2025 RS e-tron GT Performance. Boasting a jaw-dropping 912 horsepower and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of just 2.4 seconds, this electric super sedan redefines high-performance EVs. Positioned as the electric flagship of Audi’s lineup, it solidifies the brand’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive industry.

The RS e-tron GT Performance features a 105 kWh battery with 12% more capacity than its predecessor. Despite the increase in power, Audi managed to reduce the battery’s weight by 25 pounds, enhancing both efficiency and performance. The car also achieves a maximum DC fast-charging rate of 320 kW, allowing an 18-minute charge time from 10% to 80% capacity under ideal conditions.

Audi’s engineering advancements extend beyond speed. The RS e-tron GT Performance incorporates a unique two-speed rear transmission, adaptive cooling for thermal management, and a push-to-pass feature that provides an additional 94 horsepower for brief bursts of acceleration. This system ensures repeatable performance while maintaining optimal battery and motor conditions.

Chassis upgrades include a new air suspension system with active body control, rear-axle steering, and an exclusive RS performance mode. These features, combined with aerodynamic enhancements, make the car equally adept at cornering on tight circuits or cruising in comfort on open roads.

Design refinements distinguish the RS model, with forged carbon fiber elements and a matte carbon roof adding a bespoke touch. Inside, the cabin boasts customizable sound experiences, advanced digital controls, and high-end materials, including the new Vanadium interior package.

With a starting price of $167,000, the 2025 RS e-tron GT Performance represents Audi’s pinnacle of engineering and design. Available for order through U.S. Audi dealerships, this EV is more than a car—it’s a statement of technological prowess.
