Built last year by Finale Speed out of Oklahoma, this 1970 Dodge Charger has that iconic look so many muscle car fans absolutely love. But on closer inspection it’s evident the body panels are all made of carbon fiber, the telltale weave left exposed for bragging rights. That alone would be enough to get people worked up, but this Mopar that’s on the digital auction block right now has even more to offer.

Jimmy Buffet’s Ford Falcon sale proves celebrity status affects value.

Instead of the usual fare, under the hood is a Hellcrate engine, a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 that’s become the thing of mystical legends sadly. With Hellcrates and Hellcats becoming extinct, this build will absolutely age well.

Bolted up to that and sending power to the rear axle is a Tremec T56 Magnum six-speed manual, meaning the driver gets all the power plus the exhilaration of rowing through the gears. To make the most of things, there’s a 9-inch rear with limited slip and a 3.89:1 gear ratio for hooking up and making anyone dumb enough to mouth off shut up immediately.

Other performance goodies on this Mopar include Wilwood cross-drilled/slotted brake discs, adjustable JI coilovers, four-link rear suspension, power-assist steering, and 18-inch multipiece American Racing wheels with staggered widths.

Further sweetening the deal are niceties like AC, high-back Recaro racing seats, piston-grip shifter, and a customized sound system if you get sick of hearing the blown Hemi.

This ride is almost too good to be true, which is probably why the high bid at the time of writing this article sits at a lofty $166,000 and undoubtedly will go much higher. After all, this 1970 Dodge Charger was only sold back in November 2023 to a dealer and has a mere 50 miles on the odometer, so it’s still fresh and ready for its first true owner.
