Two low-production Italian performance cars are set to headline the “Italian Cars from The M Group Collection” at Mecum Indy 2026, with both crossing the block on Saturday, May 16—and notably, the collection is offered at no reserve.

Leading the pair is a 2005 Maserati MC12, one of just 50 examples produced and among the most exclusive road cars of its era. This example is part of the second production batch completed in 2005 and shows just 515 kilometers on the odometer.
Finished in the signature Bianco Fuji and Blu Victory color scheme, the MC12 reflects Maserati’s return to top-tier performance and racing-derived engineering in the early 2000s. It was originally unveiled at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show and built as the road-going counterpart to the brand’s FIA GT race program.
Power comes from a 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V-12 producing 630 horsepower, paired with a 6-speed Cambiocorsa automated manual transmission with paddle shifters. The drivetrain is housed within a carbon fiber and Nomex honeycomb chassis, with full carbon fiber bodywork contributing to its lightweight construction.
Additional highlights include titanium connecting rods, independent wishbone suspension, and Brembo cross-drilled disc brakes. The car also features a removable hard top and a Blu leather interior with Silver and Gray accents.
This example is U.S. EPA certified and offered with a Washington State title, making it road-legal in the United States—an important detail for collectors.
2005 Ferrari 575M Superamerica (Lot R714.1)

Joining the MC12 is a 2005 Ferrari 575M Superamerica, one of 559 units produced, showing just 2,444 miles.
Finished in Grigio Silverstone over a Rosso interior, this Ferrari blends grand touring comfort with open-air capability. At its heart is a 5.75-liter V-12 producing 540 horsepower, paired with an F1-style 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The defining feature of the Superamerica is its Revocromico retractable hard top, which incorporates a rotating electrochromic glass panel. This system allows the driver to adjust the tint of the glass roof, offering a unique blend of coupe rigidity and convertible openness.
Other features include Daytona-style seats, Scuderia fender shields, independent suspension, and cross-drilled disc brakes with red Ferrari calipers. The car rides on 19-inch multi-piece wheels and comes with a factory car cover and carbon fiber roof protection kit.
Italian Engineering, No Reserve
Both cars represent very different approaches to Italian performance. The MC12 is a race-bred, limited-production supercar, while the 575M Superamerica offers a more refined grand touring experience with innovative design elements.
With both vehicles offered at no reserve, they are expected to draw significant attention when they cross the block at Mecum Indy.
Which one would you take—the track-focused MC12 or the open-air V12 Ferrari?
