London streets briefly turned into a moving showcase of automotive exclusivity as three of Rolls-Royce’s most extraordinary custom-built vehicles appeared together during an official photo shoot near The Mall.
The rare gathering included the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, the Rolls-Royce Droptail and the Goldfinger edition Phantom, with the trio carrying a combined estimated value of around $64 million. The appearance marked one of the few times these highly exclusive models have been seen together in public.
Among the standout vehicles was the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail, valued at approximately $28 million and typically based in Dubai. The handcrafted luxury model is one of the most expensive new cars ever sold and takes inspiration from the original 1932 Rolls-Royce Boat Tail. Its exterior design modernizes the flowing proportions and nautical styling cues associated with the historic coachbuilt car while maintaining the brand’s signature luxury identity.
Alongside it was the Rolls-Royce Droptail, another ultra-rare creation reportedly worth about $30 million. The model has previously been seen in London, but this marked the first time it appeared beside the Boat Tail. The Droptail’s design pays tribute to several classic Rolls-Royce models from the early 20th century, including the 1912 Silver Ghost “Sluggard,” the 1925 Silver Ghost Piccadilly and the 1930 Phantom Brewster New York Roadster. The custom-built coupe blends vintage inspiration with a contemporary luxury approach.
Completing the lineup was the Goldfinger edition Phantom, a bespoke one-off model estimated at around $6 million. The special Phantom joined the two flagship coachbuilt cars as the vehicles traveled together through central London during the official shoot.
The appearance of the three vehicles created a rare moment for luxury automotive enthusiasts, bringing together some of the most exclusive and expensive modern Rolls-Royce creations ever produced.
