A one-of-a-kind 2022 Ford Bronco built in honor of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow crossed the block at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Columbus, Ohio, on June 26, hammering for $90,000. In a gesture that turned a custom off-roader into a force for good, 100 percent of the sale price is going directly to the Joe Burrow Foundation.
The four-door Bronco was a collaborative effort between RealTruck, Pro Motorsports and Burrow himself, alongside the foundation he launched in 2022. The organization works to combat food insecurity and to expand access to mental health resources for young people, and it recently wrapped up its fourth annual golf invitational in late May.
Built to Stand Out On and Off the Road
Under the hood sits a 2.7-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. Creature comforts and everyday usability remain intact thanks to power steering, power brakes and air conditioning, making this a charity build that is just as capable on a daily commute as it is on the trail.
The custom touches are what set this Bronco apart. The build features RealTruck AMP Vision power steps, a Superlift suspension system, a Havoc Steel Bender front bumper and a RealTruck winch, giving the SUV a purposeful, trail-ready stance while nodding to Burrow’s hometown roots.
A Growing Trend of Charity Builds at Auction
Athlete- and celebrity-backed charity vehicles have become a recurring highlight on the auction calendar. Barrett-Jackson in particular has built a reputation for raising eye-popping sums for good causes, as it did when the first 2025 Corvette ZR1, VIN 001, went under the hammer for charity at the Scottsdale sale. The Burrow Bronco continues that tradition of pairing desirable hardware with a meaningful mission.
The result also underscores how strongly custom and enthusiast-built trucks resonate with bidders. We saw a similar appetite for purpose-built Ford trucks with the 550-horsepower 1979 Ford F-150 Ranger restomod offered through a charity giveaway, and with collector interest in star-owned pickups like the 1978 Ford F-250 once owned by David Spade that headed to Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale.
With the Columbus event continuing Barrett-Jackson’s run of headline-grabbing results, the $90,000 Bronco is another reminder of just how much momentum the auction house carries. For a broader look at the company’s scale, revisit how Barrett-Jackson hit a record $207.6 million in sales at its 2024 Scottsdale auction. For Joe Burrow and his foundation, however, the most important number from Columbus was the full $90,000 headed straight to a cause close to home.
