A rare 2006 Ford GT with just 435 original miles is being offered through a new sweepstakes that gives participants the option of taking home the iconic American supercar or choosing a $400,000 cash alternative.
The featured Ford GT is one of only 541 examples produced in Tungsten Grey clearcoat metallic with painted silver racing stripes for the 2006 model year. The car remains in exceptionally preserved condition, having been kept by a single owner since new and maintained with factory stickers and protective films still intact.
Organizers describe the vehicle as showroom quality, positioning it as a highly collectible example of one of Ford’s most celebrated modern performance cars. Should the winner choose the vehicle instead of the cash option, an additional $25,000 will also be included to help cover associated expenses.
The 2006 Ford GT was developed as a modern tribute to the legendary GT40 race cars that dominated endurance racing during the 1960s. Drawing heavily from the styling and engineering philosophy of its racing predecessor, the road-going GT combined retro-inspired design with advanced construction techniques and supercar-level performance.
This example is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and a helical limited-slip differential. The setup helped establish the Ford GT as one of the most respected American performance vehicles of its era, delivering both immense power and an engaging driving experience.
Factory options on the car include forged aluminum BBS wheels, red-painted brake calipers and a McIntosh audio system. Additional features include Brembo brakes, high-intensity discharge headlights, air conditioning and aerodynamic components such as a front splitter and rear diffuser.

The exterior design retains many signature Ford GT elements, including side air intakes, a vented hood and the distinctive dual center-exit exhaust system mounted high within the rear fascia. Combined with the Tungsten Grey finish and silver stripes, the specification reflects one of the more desirable color combinations offered during production.
Beyond its appearance, the Ford GT also incorporated advanced engineering beneath the bodywork. The car utilized an extruded-aluminum space frame alongside roll-bonded floors and lightweight aluminum body panels, contributing to both structural rigidity and performance capability.

With ultra-low mileage, one-owner history and preserved factory details, this particular example represents an increasingly rare opportunity for collectors seeking investment-grade American performance cars from the modern era.
