A hypercar commissioned by one of Formula One’s most recognizable drivers is set to cross the block this fall. The 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie, originally ordered by Australian racer Daniel Ricciardo, will be offered at the Zoute Concours Auction in 2025, with estimates ranging between €2.4 million and €2.8 million.

Chassis No. 089 of just 150 Valkyries produced, the car remains in essentially new condition with only 160 kilometers on the odometer. Delivered through Aston Martin Monaco, it has been kept in Ricciardo’s private collection since new. The car is finished in a striking “Dichroic Dawn” paint, nicknamed “Badger Blue” in homage to Ricciardo’s “Honey Badger” persona. It is further distinguished by roof strakes and wheel centers finished in the same color, and more than £140,000 worth of bespoke options selected through Aston Martin’s “Q” division.

The Valkyrie project began as a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies, led by Formula One designer Adrian Newey. Powered by a Cosworth-built 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 paired with a hybrid system, the Valkyrie produces 1,160 horsepower and boasts a carbon monocoque chassis designed to deliver Formula One-level performance in a road-legal package.

This example includes Magnesium Performance Wheels, exposed carbon-fiber interior components, and a gloss-lacquer finish on key exterior panels. Inside, the stripped-back cabin mirrors an endurance prototype, with fixed carbon bucket seats, Alcantara trim, and a Formula One-inspired steering wheel.

Ahead of the sale, the car has received Aston Martin’s full 24-month service and is offered with an extended warranty valid through August 2027. As one of the rarest and most technically advanced road cars ever built, Ricciardo’s Valkyrie represents both a collector’s item and a piece of Formula One history, expected to draw significant global interest at auction.
