Finished in bright red paint over a matching Ultraleather interior, the vintage pickup carries the timeless appeal of Chevrolet’s Task Force era while offering a long list of performance upgrades. Under the hood, a GM Performance Ram Jet 350-cubic-inch V8 with fuel injection provides reliable power, paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission. Dual exhaust completes the package, delivering both sound and performance.

This truck rides on a powder-coated chassis with a Mustang II front end and a four-link rear suspension, supported by a four-wheel air ride system with dual compressors. The setup ensures a smoother and more adjustable ride compared to the factory suspension from nearly 70 years ago. Power is managed through a custom fuel tank and updated wiring harness, while tilt steering and custom gauges modernize the driving experience.

Additional highlights include new or refurbished brightwork across the bumpers, trim, and grille, as well as new glass with one-piece side windows. Inside, air conditioning from Vintage Air enhances comfort, making this build suitable for both show duty and weekend cruises. The oak bed floor adds a classic finishing touch, bridging the gap between heritage and customization.

The 1957 3100 represents one of Chevrolet’s most beloved pickup designs, and heavily customized builds like this one continue to attract strong attention at auction. Offered at no reserve, it joins a catalog of collector cars and trucks crossing the block during the Indy Fall Special, where bidders will have a chance to claim this show-stopping piece.
