The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Jailbreak Convertible on offer, showing just 1,242 miles, represents one of the last factory-fresh expressions of Mopar muscle. While Dodge never offered a Challenger convertible from the factory during the model’s 15-year run, this example was sent directly from the assembly line to Drop Top Customs for a professional soft-top conversion.

Under the hood sits the familiar supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8, paired with an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. The engine, supported by performance touches such as a conical cold-air intake, after-run chiller, and launch control with launch assist, delivers the same headline power as Dodge’s hardtop Hellcats while offering open-air motoring.

Finished in Octane Red with dual carbon stripes, the car’s interior combines Alcantara and Nappa leather seating, embossed with the Hellcat logo and featuring vented front buckets. A Harman Kardon audio system, Uconnect 4C navigation, heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate control, and power tilt-and-telescoping steering column ensure the convertible is as comfortable as it is capable.

Other highlights include HID headlamps, power multi-function mirrors, and a cleanly executed soft-top mechanism integrated by Drop Top Customs.

As Dodge and parent company Stellantis transition away from V-8-powered performance cars, special models like the Jailbreak Convertible stand as collectible tributes to the muscle era. With its limited production, low mileage, and unique open-air appeal, this 2023 Challenger is expected to draw strong interest when it crosses Mecum’s auction block in Indianapolis.
