Ferrari has unveiled a one-of-a-kind version of the Roma Spider, crafted by its exclusive Tailor Made department, now on display at the Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena. As part of the ‘Ferrari One of a Kind’ exhibition, this special Roma Spider showcases innovative techniques and refined materials that highlight Ferrari’s dedication to bespoke design and sustainability.

The Roma Spider’s Tailor Made configuration emphasizes groundbreaking personalization options, including custom stitching with thread derived from recycled tires and leather detailing crafted from sustainable materials. The car also features intricate laser work on its aluminum components, like the front wing shield, and offers an option for personalizing the bonnet with a compass rose design and the geographical coordinates of Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello. Recycled aluminum from Ferrari’s foundry is also used in components of the powerful twin-turbo V8 engine, ensuring that waste is minimized during production.

Additional highlights include chrome-free nappa leather and responsibly sourced wood on the tonneau cover and rear floor, reinforcing Ferrari’s commitment to sustainable luxury. The center console features sand recycled from production casts, further showcasing Ferrari’s ingenuity in upcycling materials.

This unique Roma Spider Tailor Made also integrates a collaboration with Montblanc, resulting in a limited-edition Meisterstück pen. Designed to match the car’s Oro Mida color scheme, the pen features a hand-worked solid gold nib and platinum-coated accents, reflecting the compass motif found on the car. Accompanying the pen is a logbook wrapped in reused leather matching the vehicle’s Rosso Bologna and Pelle Metalizzata Oro Mida interior. The logbook also bears the Maranello coordinates, tying together the journey theme embodied by the Roma Spider.

The ‘Ferrari One of a Kind’ exhibition at the Enzo Ferrari Museum is a celebration of Ferrari’s Tailor Made program, where clients can explore bespoke personalization options. With immersive installations featuring materials, fabrics, and interactive experiences, visitors can witness the craftsmanship that defines Ferrari’s custom creations. The exhibition, open until February 2025, provides an exclusive look at Ferrari’s most personalized models, including the uniquely crafted Roma Spider.

The Ferrari Roma Spider pays homage to the chic, open-air driving experience reminiscent of Italy’s 1950s and 60s lifestyle. Marking a return to the soft-top convertible design on a front-engined Ferrari after more than five decades, the Roma Spider pairs elegant aesthetics with high performance. Powered by a 620-cv twin-turbo V8 engine mated to an 8-speed DCT gearbox, it offers class-leading performance, including a top speed exceeding 320 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.4 seconds.

The technical specifications of the Roma Spider include a dry weight of 1,556 kg, a dry/power ratio of 2.5 kg/cv, and a weight distribution of 48% front and 52% rear, ensuring balanced handling and agility. Advanced electronic controls like the F1-TCS and SSC 6.0 further enhance driving dynamics, while the vehicle’s fuel consumption and emissions are rated at 11.4 l/100 km and 258 g/km, respectively, according to the WLTC cycle.
