1970 Plymouth AAR ’Cuda 4-Speed Heads to Auction

One of Plymouth’s most coveted muscle cars, the 1970 AAR ’Cuda, is set to be offered at auction, presenting bidders with a chance to own a piece of American motorsport history.

This example shows just 39,883 actual miles and remains highly original. Under the hood is Chrysler’s 340-cubic-inch V8, factory-equipped with three two-barrel carburetors—the famous “Six Pack.” Power is sent through a desirable four-speed manual transmission with console, one of just 1,120 manual-equipped AAR ’Cudas built.

Introduced for the 1970 model year, the AAR ’Cuda was a special homologation car built to qualify Plymouth for the SCCA Trans Am racing series. Each was fitted with a fiberglass fresh-air hood, side-exit exhaust, and unique graphics. This particular car retains its original factory fender tag, ensuring authenticity.

Finished in rare B3 Light Metallic Blue with a black interior, it also features a 3.55 Sure Grip rear end, factory fog lamps, and power disc brakes. Its stance and specification mark it as one of the most sought-after variants in Plymouth’s performance lineup.
