Sweepstakes Puts Two Corvettes on the Line, Including a 2026 ZR1

A sweepstakes running through the middle of August is giving entrants a shot at two Corvettes instead of one, with a single entry counting toward both drawings.

Anyone who enters between July 2 and Aug. 16 is placed automatically into two separate pools. The first drawing, for a 2001 Corvette convertible, takes place in August. The second, for a 2026 Corvette ZR1 equipped with the ZTK Performance Package, follows in September. Two cars, two winners, one entry.

The ZR1 itself is no longer just a rendering on a screen. Organizers say the giveaway car has been delivered and is now parked on the showroom floor at Ciocca Corvette in Atlantic City, where the public can see it.

Multiple entries are permitted, and organizers encourage them. Entering also enrolls participants in a VIP Club that sends early word of flash giveaways and bonus entry promotions. More than 100 winners have been drawn to date, a number of them repeat winners from limited-time contests. When bonus periods are active, entries can be submitted daily, and each one counts toward the grand prize as well as any flash or bonus giveaway underway at the time.

The grand prize car is finished in Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic. At its center is the 5.5-liter LT7, a twin-turbocharged, dual-overhead-cam, flat-plane-crank V8 that stands as the most powerful V8 ever built in the United States by an automaker. It shares its basic architecture with the Z06’s LT6 — itself the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8 — but adds a pair of turbochargers, a first for a factory-built Corvette. Engineers spent considerable effort matching forced induction to the flat-plane layout to extract the most from the combination.

Corvette chief engineer Josh Holder has described the sports car market’s appetite for outright performance as unending, and the ZR1 as the car that sits at the very peak of the Corvette range.

Two chassis configurations are offered, both riding on Magnetic Ride dampers. The standard ZR1 setup uses lower-drag bodywork and a compact spoiler with short and tall wickers the owner can swap. Carbon fiber shows up in the front splitter, rocker moldings, side intake with integrated brake cooling and the front underwing with stall gurney deflectors. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires wrap 20-inch wheels in front and 21-inch wheels at the rear, a package meant to balance daily comfort against track work.
