Constructed to commemorate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary, the Veneno was unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, stunning attendees with its aggressive design and performance specifications. It is based on the Aventador, yet stands out with a more radical aesthetic and enhanced capabilities. The car’s 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V-12 engine produces 740 horsepower and 509 ft-lbs of torque, enabling it to achieve top speeds of 221 mph.

The Veneno’s design, a collaborative effort by Filippo Perini and Michele Tinazzo, features a carbon-fiber body optimized for aerodynamics, significantly improving downforce through its pronounced rear wing and deep diffusor. This focus on lightweight construction results in the car weighing 300 pounds less than the standard Aventador.

Originally sold for about $4 million, the exact value of this near-mint condition Veneno will be determined at the upcoming auction. Its rarity and pristine state are likely to command a premium price, making it the centerpiece of any luxury car collection. The auction of this Lamborghini Veneno not only highlights the enduring allure of the brand but also underscores the growing trend of collecting ultra-rare automobiles as both an investment and a testament to automotive history.
