Brabus Rocket GTS Shooting Brake Deep Blue

High-performance tuning house Brabus has revealed a new edition of its Rocket GTS Shooting Brake, this time clad in an exposed carbon fiber finish woven with shimmering Deep Blue fibers. Priced from $1.8 million, this exclusive variant of the 986-horsepower hybrid super-wagon builds on the foundation of the already extreme Brabus Rocket GTS based on the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E Performance.

The Deep Blue edition commands a $68,000 premium over the original black version, owing largely to its intricate carbon fiber construction. Rather than a cosmetic wrap, Brabus infused blue fibers directly into the carbon weave, extending the theme across interior components and bespoke paint options for trim and accessories.

Underneath its show-stopping skin, the Shooting Brake’s body panels are designed not just for aesthetics but also for functional aerodynamics. A CAD-optimized front splitter, massive air intakes, and a full-width carbon rear diffuser combine with an integrated ducktail spoiler to increase downforce at high speeds. Capable of reaching 197 mph, the Deep Blue is as much a performance machine as it is a visual statement.

Power comes from a heavily modified 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8—bored out from the SL’s standard 4.0-liter unit—producing 785 horsepower alone. A 150-kW electric motor adds another 201 hp, for a combined output of 986 hp and a staggering 1,195 lb-ft of torque. Brabus claims 0 to 62 mph in just 2.6 seconds, and 0 to 124 mph in 9.5 seconds.

Riding on exclusive Monoblock P Platinum Edition wheels—21 inches up front, 22 at the rear—the Rocket GTS Deep Blue also features a bespoke braking system with airflow-enhancing wheel designs. Lightweight construction, including extensive carbon use and revised carpeting, reduces curb weight below 5,115 pounds.

Despite the performance credentials, Brabus hasn’t overlooked drama. A custom titanium exhaust system with carbon fiber tips ensures the hybrid powertrain delivers an “unmistakable V8 symphony.”

The Brabus Rocket GTS Shooting Brake Deep Blue is available to order now in extremely limited numbers, targeting collectors and hypercar enthusiasts seeking exclusivity with an unmistakable presence.
