Freije & Freije Auctioneers is preparing to showcase a diverse lineup of classic and vintage vehicles at its Fall Big Boy Toy Auction later this month, with several standout trucks drawing attention from collectors and enthusiasts.
Among the featured consignments is a 1963 Ford F-100 Stepside Pickup, upgraded with a 5.0-liter fuel-injected V8 paired to an automatic overdrive transmission. The truck sits on a Crown Victoria front clip and benefits from modern power steering, while the interior has been freshly upholstered with cowhide accents for a unique finish.
The sale will also include two Chevrolet K5 Blazers from the 1980s, both popular among collectors for their rugged styling and off-road capability. A 1988 Chevrolet Blazer K-5 finished in a silver-and-black two-tone paint scheme brings a 350-cubic-inch small-block V8 under the hood, with automatic transmission, air conditioning, and power amenities such as windows, locks, and steering. Alloy wheels wrapped in 31-inch tires complete the period-correct presentation.
Meanwhile, a 1985 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4×4 SUV adds custom flair, with a 5.7-liter 350 V8 and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The truck has been outfitted with aftermarket heads, camshaft, and intake, plus a Sidewinder shifter, upgraded gauges, and custom lighting. It rides on 20-inch Fuel wheels mounted with 33-inch tires, while interior updates include power seats and a CD player. The consignor describes it as “super clean” and reports it runs and drives excellently.
The auction, scheduled to begin September 26, will offer buyers the chance to acquire these classic American trucks alongside a broad selection of other vintage and specialty vehicles. With no shortage of variety, the event underscores the growing demand for collectible pickups and SUVs from the 1960s through the 1980s.
