A rare 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge finished in Matador Red is serving as the centerpiece of the latest GTO Dream Giveaway, offering muscle car enthusiasts the opportunity to own one of Pontiac’s most recognizable performance cars while supporting charitable causes benefiting military veterans and children in need.
The featured Judge represents one of the most sought-after versions of the legendary GTO. Equipped with Pontiac’s Ram Air III engine and a Muncie 4-speed transmission, the car captures the height of the muscle car era with its factory performance setup and unmistakable styling cues. A hood-mounted tachometer and signature 60-inch rear spoiler further define the aggressive appearance that made the Judge an icon of late-1960s American performance.
What separates this example from many other restored GTO Judges is its rare Matador Red paint finish. The color was introduced later in the 1969 production year, making surviving examples significantly less common among collectors. Built in May 1969, the car arrived during a period when Pontiac expanded available color options, giving this Judge an added level of rarity and desirability.
The vehicle also includes Pontiac Historical Services documentation verifying its authenticity as a genuine Judge model. Collectors often view documented examples as especially valuable because of the model’s historical significance and strong demand in the classic muscle car market.

Organizers say the GTO underwent a restoration valued at more than $100,000, resulting in what is considered a top-tier stock restoration. The project was completed with assistance from Ames Performance Engineering, a well-known supplier of Pontiac restoration components. The restoration work aimed to preserve the car’s factory-correct appearance while returning it to concours-level condition.
In addition to the vehicle itself, sweepstakes organizers announced that $26,000 will be provided to help cover prize taxes for the winner.

The promotion arrives during renewed interest in classic American muscle cars, particularly limited-production and highly documented examples from the late 1960s. With only days remaining in the sweepstakes, the Matador Red Judge is drawing attention from collectors and enthusiasts eager for a chance to own a rare piece of Pontiac performance history.
