The clock is ticking for enthusiasts who want to put Chevrolet’s most powerful Corvette ever in their garage. A 2026 Corvette ZR1 Coupe with the coveted ZTK Performance Package is the grand prize in a sweepstakes closing Sept. 28, and readers of Modern Car Collector will receive double entries.
Finished in Sebring Orange and equipped with the 3LZ interior package, the ZR1 redefines Corvette performance with numbers that rival the world’s top supercars. At its heart is the all-new LT7 engine, a 5.5-liter, twin-turbocharged, flat-plane crank V8. Rated at 1,064 horsepower and 828 pound-feet of torque, it stands as the most powerful V8 ever produced by an American automaker.
Chevrolet estimates the car can reach 233 mph on the track and cover the quarter-mile in under 10 seconds. To keep that power in check, the ZTK package includes a carbon fiber aero kit that produces more than 1,200 pounds of downforce at top speed. The setup also adds dive planes, an aggressive rear wing, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted on staggered 20- and 21-inch wheels. The coupe revives the Corvette’s iconic split rear window design, a nod to the 1963 Sting Ray.
“This is the pinnacle of the Corvette lineup,” said Josh Holder, Corvette’s chief engineer. “There is an insatiable thirst in the sports car world for ultimate performance, and the ZR1 delivers exactly that.”
The sweepstakes winner will also take home $125,000 in cash, covering federal prize taxes or fueling future adventures. The drawing will be held Oct. 4 at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Pennsylvania.
Entries close at 11:59 p.m. MDT on Sept. 28, making this the final call for collectors and Corvette fans alike.
