2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible With Carbon Fiber Aero Package For Sale From GAA Classic Cars - featured image

A 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 convertible is for sale from GAA Classic Cars, which is offering the Black-over-Adrenaline Red drop-top as Lot ST0079.2 at its November 2026 auction in Greensboro, North Carolina, where it is scheduled to cross the block on Saturday. This 3LZ example carries the ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package, visible carbon fiber wheels and a window sticker that totals $245,764, making it one of the most aggressively equipped versions of the most powerful Corvette Chevrolet has ever sold. For collectors who want the newest chapter of the ZR1 story with the top down, this listing deserves a close look.

The headline is the engine. Every ZR1 is powered by the LT7, a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged, flat-plane-crank V8 rated at 1,064 horsepower and 828 lb-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. That output makes it the most powerful production V8 General Motors has ever built, and as a Corvette ZR1 convertible it delivers hypercar-level performance with a retractable hardtop that opens the cabin to the sound of it. This ZR1 also wears the Performance Exhaust, so there is nothing muted about the experience.

Aerodynamics are where this car separates itself from a standard-spec ZR1. The listing highlights the ZR1 Carbon Fiber Aero Package, a $10,495 option on the window sticker that adds the carbon fiber high-wing rear spoiler, front dive planes and a tall hood spoiler. Combined with the standard carbon fiber visible splitter, rockers, roof and exterior accents, the result is a Corvette that looks every bit as purposeful parked in a driveway as it does on a road course.

The rolling stock is just as special. The most expensive single option on this ZR1 is the $13,995 set of visible carbon fiber wheels, which reduce unsprung weight and show off their weave through the gloss black finish. Behind them sit standard carbon ceramic brakes with Bright Red-painted calipers, a sharp contrast against the black paint. The Front Lift Adjustable Height System with Memory is also fitted, a practical $2,595 option that lets the owner raise the nose over driveway lips and speed bumps and have the car remember those locations.

Inside, the 3LZ trim brings the top-tier Corvette cabin, finished here in black and Adrenaline Red. GAA Classic Cars notes Competition Sport bucket seats, and the sticker lists two-tone seats, Torch Red seat belts, the Stealth Interior Trim Package and Carbon Fiber Interior Trim Level 2. Heated and ventilated seats, a heated carbon fiber steering wheel with paddles, suede microfiber upper trim and a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system round out a cockpit that is as comfortable on a long weekend drive as it is focused on a back road.

The technology is fully modern. This Corvette carries a 14-inch driver information center, a 12.7-inch center display with Google built-in, a 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen, a head-up display and the Performance Data and Video Recorder, which lets an owner capture lap times and footage. Safety equipment includes rear cross traffic alert, side blind zone alert, forward collision alert and automatic emergency braking, so a buyer gets the latest Corvette engineering in a package that can still be used and enjoyed.

The details show a car that was ordered with care. Beyond the big-ticket items, the window sticker for this ZR1 lists black exhaust tips, the Battery Protection Package, black lug nuts and wheel locks, Dark Stealth crossed-flags emblems, carbon fiber mirror caps, a painted rear Corvette script and a set of premium leather weekend travel bags. In all, the car carries $42,369 in options over its $201,400 base price, and the window sticker and accessories are pictured with the car.

The ZR1 name has meant the top of the Corvette range since the 1990 ZR-1, and each generation has become a reference point for collectors, from the LT5-powered C4 to the supercharged C6 and C7 cars. This mid-engine, twin-turbo C8 version is the most extreme of them all, and an open-top example with this level of carbon fiber equipment is a strong candidate to be one of the most desirable configurations in years to come, a case we have also made for its hybrid sibling in Is the 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1X a Future Collector Car? Lot ST0079.2 offers a chance to put one in the garage without waiting, with the auction setting the price.
