The SEMA crunch is officially on, and the crew at RestoMods is back in the garage with one of their most ambitious projects yet—a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle that’s being completely resurrected from the ground up.
Four years ago, this tired old Chevelle rolled into the RestoMods shop as little more than a shell. Since then, it’s transformed into one of their most detailed and challenging builds to date, set to make its debut at SEMA 2025 alongside the RM32 Fastback Mustang and 1970 HEMI Charger at BluePrint Engines’ booth (#81496, Silver Lot).
In Episode 1, the RestoMods team begins the teardown, exposing years of wear and damage, and laying the foundation for a proper rebuild. By Episode 2, the Chevelle starts to come together—complete with a new BluePrint Engines 427 naturally aspirated crate motor and a SilverSport 4-speed transmission. The goal? To bring back one of Chevrolet’s most iconic muscle cars and make it perform better than ever.

Every inch of the Chevelle is being rebuilt with precision and purpose. From the freshly coated frame and new body panels to the restored interior, this isn’t a quick flip—it’s a bolt-by-bolt transformation. The crew insists on doing everything the hard way, because on a build like this, shortcuts don’t exist.
Once complete, the ’67 Chevelle will embody the essence of a modern RestoMod: classic looks with cutting-edge performance. It’s the kind of build that pays tribute to the past while proving how timeless muscle cars can still dominate the road.
If this build’s energy feels familiar, that’s because RestoMods has been on a tear lately. Their RM32 1969 Mustang Fastback, featuring a 347 Stroker V8 and coil-over suspension, has already set a high bar for craftsmanship and performance. The Chevelle is poised to meet—and maybe even exceed—it.
The build series is now live:

RestoMods’ annual builds have become a staple for enthusiasts who love watching real craftsmanship unfold. This Chevelle proves that even the most forgotten classics can roar back to life—with the right team, the right tools, and a lot of late nights.
Would you take the keys to this revived 1967 Chevelle, or the Mustang Fastback that came before it?
