A pristine 2021 McLaren Elva, the 67th of just 149 planned production units, is now available for purchase. Originally delivered to McLaren Walnut Creek in California, this stunning example was later acquired by the selling dealer in July 2024 and is currently located in Brownsburg, Indiana. With only 837 miles on the odometer, this windshield-free, carbon-fiber-bodied supercar is a remarkable blend of cutting-edge technology and historical homage.

The McLaren Elva, part of McLaren’s Ultimate Series, was first unveiled in late 2019. Its design and name pay tribute to the M1A, B, and C sports racers developed in collaboration between Bruce McLaren and Elva Cars. The Elva’s carbon-fiber MonoCell II monocoque chassis supports three main carbon-fiber panels and low-profile dihedral doors. To counter the absence of a windshield, McLaren’s Active Air Management System employs a front deflector to channel air over the cockpit, ensuring a comfortable driving experience.

This Elva is finished in a special-order McLaren Orange, accented by painted heritage-style graphics including No. 4 roundels and script honoring Bruce McLaren. Additional aesthetic touches include blue-tinted carbon-fiber accents, Sandblasted Zircon brightwork, and silver-painted side-mirror covers. Aerodynamically, the car is equipped with a front splitter, rear diffuser, active rear spoiler, intake scoops, and ducts. A front lift system is also included, along with paint-protection film for added durability.

Under the hood, the Elva houses a 4.0-liter M840TR V8 engine, a derivative of the powerplant used in the McLaren 720S. This twin-scroll turbocharged engine features a flat-plane crankshaft and dry-sump lubrication, producing 804 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 590 lb-ft of torque at 5,500 rpm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch SSG transmission. The vehicle’s advanced double-wishbone suspension incorporates ProActive Chassis Control II, offering comfort, sport, and track modes. Other performance features include Variable Drift Control, Brake Steer, launch control, and variable-rate electro-hydraulic steering.

The interior of the Elva is just as impressive as its performance. Carbon-fiber bucket seats are upholstered in navy blue Nubuck with orange piping and stitching, complemented by kiwi silhouettes on the headrests. The interior also features body-color painted surfaces on the dash, doors, and center console, with exposed carbon fiber on the lower sections. Additional amenities include a deployable rollover system, padded armrest, four-point harnesses, air conditioning, parking sensors, rearview camera, touchscreen infotainment, and a McLaren sound system.

The Elva’s forged alloy wheels, measuring 19×9 inches in the front and 20×11 inches in the rear, are finished in Gloss Black Diamond Cut and are fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. The braking system features sintered cross-drilled and ventilated carbon-ceramic rotors with forged monobloc calipers. The car comes with a pair of Bell racing helmets, a copy of its window sticker, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.

This 2021 McLaren Elva, with a total suggested retail price of $1,820,268, represents a rare opportunity to own a piece of automotive excellence that merges modern performance with a rich heritage. Each sill bears a badge commemorating McLaren’s Can-Am racing achievements, and a plaque on the door jamb identifies it as number 67 of 149. This exclusive vehicle is now available for those looking to add a unique and historic supercar to their collection.
