Corvette ZR1 Giveaway Car Lands on Atlantic City Showroom Floor

The car at the center of one of the year’s most talked-about sweepstakes is no longer a rendering on a screen. The 2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 headlining Ciocca Corvette’s grand prize giveaway has arrived and is parked on the dealership’s showroom floor, where the public can see it in person.

Finished in Competition Yellow Tintcoat Metallic and equipped with the ZTK Performance Package, the car represents the return of the nameplate long known among enthusiasts as the king of the hill. Chevrolet has positioned the ZR1 at the summit of the Corvette lineup, aimed squarely at the supercars that have traditionally come from Europe.

Under the rear glass sits a 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged LT7, a dual overhead cam, flat-plane crank V8 that the automaker calls the most powerful V8 ever built in America by a manufacturer. Engineers started with the architecture of the Z06’s naturally aspirated LT6 — itself the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8 — and added a pair of turbochargers, a first for a factory-built Corvette. Matching forced induction to the flat-plane layout took extensive planning, and the result pushes the engine family well past what it was originally asked to do.

Corvette chief engineer Josh Holder has described the sports car market as endlessly hungry for more performance, and said the ZR1 sits at the very top of the brand’s range in answer to that demand.

Buyers can choose between two chassis configurations, both fitted with Magnetic Ride dampers. The standard setup uses a slipperier body designed for reduced drag, paired with a modest spoiler and short and tall wickers that owners can swap themselves. Carbon fiber shows up in the front splitter, rocker moldings, side intake with integrated brake cooling, and the front underwing with stall gurney deflectors. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires wrap 20-inch wheels up front and 21-inch wheels in the rear, a combination intended to keep the car livable on public roads without giving up track credibility.

The dealership says entrants may sign up as often as they like, and encourages it. Entering also adds participants to a VIP Club that receives advance notice of flash giveaways and bonus entry promotions. During those promotions, entries can be submitted daily, and every entry counts toward the ZR1 as well as any bonus or flash prize running at the time. More than 100 winners have been drawn to date, including a number of repeat winners from limited-time drawings.
