The car is being sold by an Arizona dealer and comes with an owner’s manual, service records, a Carfax report showing no accidents or damage, and a clean Montana title. Because the sale carries no reserve, the car will go to the highest bidder regardless of where the number lands.
Much of the interest centers on recent mechanical work. The mid-mounted 3.5-liter V8 was pulled from the car in September 2024 for a major service. That work covered new timing, alternator, auxiliary and air-conditioning compressor belts, along with replacement exhaust manifolds, spark plugs, a coolant hose, and fresh valve covers and gaskets. The inner and outer CV joint boots were replaced during the same visit.
The dual-overhead-cam engine uses five valves per cylinder and dry-sump lubrication, and was rated from the factory at 375 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. Power reaches the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle paired with a limited-slip differential.
The Pininfarina-styled body wears Rosso Corsa paint with a power-operated black soft top, pop-up headlights and integrated front fog lights. Eighteen-inch five-spoke magnesium wheels were fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires in January 2022. Ferrari-branded calipers clamp ventilated discs at all four corners.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in tan Connolly leather and includes sport seats, automatic climate control, a cassette stereo, drilled aluminum pedals and the exposed metal shift gate that has become a defining detail for collectors. The dealer notes that sticky interior buttons, a common complaint on cars of this era, have been refinished.
The six-digit odometer reads 9,000 miles, roughly 2,000 of them added by the current owner. A mileage inconsistency appears in a May 2018 Carfax entry, though the report suggests it may simply be a clerical error. The vehicle history also lists five service records, four previous owners, at least one open recall and prior registration in Montana.
