An ultra-rare Koenigsegg Agera One:1 once owned by former Formula 1 driver Adrian Sutil has been reported missing, prompting an international investigation involving Interpol and German authorities.
The hypercar, one of only seven ever produced, was reported stolen in Monaco in January 2026. The case has drawn significant attention due to both the vehicle’s rarity and the circumstances surrounding its disappearance. The Agera One:1, which produces 1,360 horsepower, is estimated to be worth more than $10 million and was considered the centerpiece of Sutil’s luxury car collection.

According to reports, the situation escalated in December 2025 when Sutil allegedly faced pressure from individuals linked to the Russian mercenary organization Wagner Group. The group is said to have contacted Sutil amid an ongoing investigation by German authorities into suspected fraud and embezzlement tied to his collection of high-end vehicles. During that period, authorities had already seized approximately 20 vehicles stored across Germany, Switzerland and Monaco.
Shortly after the reported contact, individuals believed to be associated with the group allegedly arrived at Sutil’s residence and demanded control of several vehicles, including the Koenigsegg. In a complaint filed with prosecutors in Stuttgart, it was alleged that nine luxury vehicles with a combined value of around €17 million disappeared from Sutil’s Monaco garage. Among the missing cars were a Koenigsegg Regera, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, and several models from Porsche and Ferrari.
The case has since expanded beyond national borders. Interpol is now involved, and Germany’s Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office has initiated an international search effort. Authorities have not disclosed the whereabouts of the missing vehicles.
