GAA Classic Cars is putting a remarkably fresh yellow Ferrari in front of bidders at its November sale in Greensboro, North Carolina, and this 2006 Ferrari F430 Spider will sell with no reserve. Offered as lot ST0133 and scheduled to run on Saturday, the convertible shows just 2,600 miles on the odometer, which is the kind of number that turns a used supercar into a time capsule.

The F430 remains one of the great Ferrari shapes of the 2000s, and this Spider wears the look well. Pininfarina’s sculpted nose, deep side intakes and clean tail are all on display here, and the yellow paint is sharpened by yellow brake calipers, polished alloy wheels and a carbon fiber rear grille. A clear bra on the front end helps explain why the nose looks so crisp.

Behind the seats sits Ferrari’s 4.3-liter DOHC V8, a high-revving engine rated at roughly 490 horsepower when the F430 debuted and famous for its wailing top end. The GAA Classic Cars listing pairs it with the 6-speed F1 transmission, the paddle-shifted gearbox that gave the F430 its race-bred feel and made it one of the most engaging Ferraris of its era.

Inside, the cabin is as cheerful as the exterior. The yellow and blue interior, with Daytona seats, is one of the more distinctive color combinations Ferrari offered, and the photos in the listing show the leather and trim looking bright and well kept. Few cars at any auction make a stronger first impression when the door swings open.

Low mileage is the story here. With only 2,600 miles on the clock, this Spider has barely been broken in, and the listing notes recent servicing, which is exactly what a buyer wants to see on a Ferrari that has been driven so little. Tire pressure monitoring is also noted among the car’s highlights.

Documentation adds to the appeal. This F430 Spider comes with its original window sticker, a handy record of how the car left the factory and a welcome touch for collectors who value completeness as much as condition.

Most of all, this F430 Spider offers a rare combination: a modern Ferrari with open-air driving, a paddle-shifted F1 gearbox, a screaming V8, and no reserve. Whoever bids last on Saturday takes home a low-mile yellow Spider with the original window sticker still in the file.
