Mecum Indy: 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari With Just 57 Miles Is About to Shake the Auction World

A 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari with just 57 delivery miles is set to cross the block at Mecum Indy 2026, highlighting one of the most significant modern hypercars to appear at auction.

Scheduled as Lot S191 on Saturday, May 16, the car is one of only 120 examples produced for the U.S. market and is being offered without reserve.

The LaFerrari marked a turning point for the Italian automaker when it debuted in 2013 as the brand’s first hybrid-powered flagship. Drawing heavily from Formula One technology, the model combined a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V-12 engine with an electric motor to produce a total of 949 horsepower.

Power is delivered through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the HY-KERS energy recovery system captures braking energy and redeploys it under acceleration. Ferrari rated the car with a top speed of 217 mph.

The LaFerrari features a carbon fiber monocoque chassis and extensive use of lightweight materials throughout. Its aerodynamic design incorporates active elements, including an adjustable rear spoiler and movable diffuser flaps, designed to optimize airflow and stability at high speeds.

Finished in Nero with a matching Nero leather interior, the car includes carbon fiber interior trim, bucket seats with Alcantara inserts, and Ferrari’s signature steering wheel-mounted controls. Additional systems include magnetorheological suspension, electronic traction control integrated with the hybrid system, and carbon-ceramic Brembo brakes.

According to the listing, the car remains in near-delivery condition and is accompanied by its Ferrari Classiche Yellow Book and owner’s manual.

Introduced as Ferrari’s most technologically advanced production car at the time, the LaFerrari represented the brand’s transition into hybrid performance while maintaining its traditional V-12 architecture. With limited production and strong collector demand, examples with extremely low mileage are rarely offered publicly.

The car is expected to draw significant attention when it crosses the block in Indianapolis, as collectors continue to seek out landmark models from Ferrari’s modern era.

This year marks the 39th Mecum Indy with over 3,000 vehicles for sale and many lots of collectible memorabilia. Visit the website to see fantastic vehicles- MANY AT NO RESERVE!
