A well-preserved 1995 AM General Hummer open-top is drawing attention ahead of its upcoming auction, where bidding has reached $55,000 with several days remaining and no reserve in place.
The four-door example stands out for its low mileage, showing just 10,000 miles on the odometer. It is reported to have remained with its original owner until 2021, adding to its appeal among collectors seeking vehicles with documented history and limited use. The current selling dealer acquired the truck in 2026 and completed minor maintenance, including replacing the right-side exhaust manifold and gasket, along with an oil change.
Finished in red with a gray cloth interior, the Hummer reflects the rugged styling that defined the brand during the 1990s. Exterior features include a black soft top, split windshield, brush guard, clamshell hood, and a fold-down tailgate. Additional utility elements such as a receiver hitch, rear crossbar system, and protective guards for the driveline reinforce its off-road focus.
The vehicle rides on 16.5-inch eight-lug steel wheels fitted with 37-inch Goodyear Wrangler tires. Its advanced off-road hardware includes an independent suspension with portal axles, four-wheel inboard disc brakes, and a Central Tire Inflation System, allowing the driver to adjust tire pressure directly from the cabin.
Inside, the Hummer offers four high-back bucket seats and a range of comfort features, including power windows, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a cassette stereo system. An onboard air compressor and keyless entry add to its functionality.
Power comes from a 6.5-liter diesel V8 engine producing 170 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case, sending power to all four wheels through torque-biasing differentials.
